Our classes help build your confidence, get you comfortable in your dancing, and finding your own groove to the music.
We offer a variety of teaching styles and start each month with a new focus. After class, we like to socialise and practice our moves.
No need to come with a partner, and we do not have fixed gender-based roles. For our weekly classes, you do not need to book ahead – just turn up!
New to swing dancing? We welcome you anytime, but starting at the beginning of the month is ideal as we rotate teachers each month.
You’ll learn the fundamentals and classic patterns of Lindy Hop, Charleston, Solo Jazz – everything you need for the social dance floor! We’ll ensure you find ways to dance that feels comfortable for your own body, and we’ll build our moves together so you will never feel lost.
Starting to feel more comfortable with both Lindy Hop and Charleston? Dancers usaully join our intermediate classes after one year with us. We encourage you to give it a try if you feel ready!
You’ll dig deeper into leader-follower connection techniques and build your repertoire with new patterns and shapes. Depending on the teachers, we may also explore mixing rhythms and types of swing dance so that you can play with different expressions of the music and your dance.
